Semi Wordless Wednesday

While the rest of you have been dealing with extreme winter weather, this part of Texas has been beautifully mild.

The Little Lady took it upon herself to enjoy the weather in her own way, taking her blankie outside for a nap.

Of course, once she realized she had been caught, then it was all about being silly.

Turning from my silly daughter, I realized one of our magnolias is blooming again.

Hip hip hooray for warm weather.

Thanks for the encouraging pictures of spring! We just received 4" of snow in KY today, temps in the teens...this after just coming out of the first ice storm. So...the pictures of the blooms were most welcome!

We have been soaking up the beautiful weather also. We played outside in short-sleeves Sunday!

I'm scanning those comments and I'm thinking that posting a picture of the daffodil that is about to bloom might not be the way to go tomorrow...hmmm...

Pretty and peaceful looking. I especially love the last photo. The shades of pink are so beautiful up against the browns in the background.

Happy WW!

Love the second to last photo with the magnolia buds. They're the most beautiful of the flowering trees in my eyes.

Lovely pictures. She is too precious. My 2 year old always carries his blankie around with him and will do something like that. The other day he climbed into the playhouse with his blankie and went to sleep with his blankie. Happy WW.

What often happens here where I live in Louisiana is that the early blooms end up getting nailed by a late frost! I hope your beautiful magnolias continue to thrive!

She is adorable and what fun to nap outside even if you're only pretending!

Beautiful photos, but I am so jealous. I am in Southern Indiana and right above Louisville which has thousands of homes without power in this horrible weather , ice and sleet and snow. We were lucky and only lost power for a day. We got no mail for a week though.and it snowed again last night.

My WW is up on Preparedforsurvival

I am so jealous! It must have been 15 degrees when I ran out to my car for work this morning. You have flowers blooming? She can go out without a coat?

So, Texas is nice then, huh? I can adapt to Southern accents pretty well. :-)

I'm so jealous, where is the snow??

It's been mostly warm here too, although tonight is supposed to dip in to the upper thirties. Don't think we'll be taking any outdoor naps. Great photos. Happy Wednesday.

Love the pictures! Can you please send some of the warmer weather up this way. It's a might chilly in Arkansas. I'll be looking for our tress and flowers to start blooming. I just love Spring and you've made me yearn for it more.

It is quite warm here too! My roses are blooming and we went to the beach yesterday! The water was too cold to go in, but it was perfect to just sit there and tan (okay, I don't really 'tan' per se, but a girl can pretend right?)

Your magnolias are beautiful.

UHHHHHHHHHH lol. You and your blossoming trees in February! lol. If I layed down out there for a nap I'd freeze to death.

Enjoy! And soak up enough sun for the two of us!

My tulip tree is acting like it could explode into bloom any minute now. I'm hoping it holds off until spring really arrives.

Gorgeous photos!

I love to get our 22 month old son, put him on top of my shoulders, and walk to the nearby park. He has the grandest time!

That's why I'm thankful for the mild winters we have here in Arkansas.

Have a good day!

The weather is absolutely scorching here in Australia. We've been having a heatwave. Your little one is looking so grown up! Still very cute though. :)

The second picture reminds me SO MUCH of my littlest gal. What is it about the pacie that makes it OK to have in your mouth in any direction? They're so silly!
