From Mommy.
"Crap."
UGH!
I knew that I needed to purge the word from my vocab, but I hadn't yet. Honestly, it's just a great word. Seriously -- I can't think of ANY situation where it doesn't fit. It's MY word.
And, now, it's also the Little Lady's word.
Only, she doesn't use it accurately or with the gusto that Mommy does.
She just "sings" the word.
To the tune of the "ABC Song."
"Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!"
Oh -- and Hubby, the great help that he is, has decided to teach her the question "What Does Mommy Say" . . . . with "crap" being her answer.
Sigh. And. . . crap.

Ooooooh. I'm first :-)
Don't worry about the whole "crap" thing. I kept slipping up and saying Oh God! And now my 5 year old constantly says it. Not that it's the worst thing that you can say, but she says it with such authority I have to giggle sometimes.
Kids.
Priceless!
LOL! My kids both started saying that particular word at an early age thanks to me... :-X
At least it is better than some of the alternatives!
Oh, you are a GOOD mom compared to me. When my DD was not quite 2 she dropped something over the back of the couch and exclaimed "Oh sh*t." I couldn't help but laugh. Not only was she cursing, but she was using it in appropriate situations.
Of course, now she knows better than to say "Mommy/Daddy Words." Which she usually only hears while we're driving. ;)
It could always be worse! LOL
hahaha, I love it. You just can't beat what comes out of these kids' mouths sometimes!
hahaha! it SOO could be worse! my lil guy just started repeating everything we say... uh oh!
Pre-babies I was a total potty mouth. I cleaned up my act my act once Z started babbling, substituting crap for stronger verbage. Then one morning, Z woke up and announced that she "felt like crap," followed up with "this breakfast tastes like crap," and "those shoes are crappy." We had the I-know-you-have-heard-Mama-use-that-word-but-it-is-not-for-little-girls speech. She has complied and I now say "crumb."
I still can't believe my son hasn't picked this word up from me. It is my favorite word to use it seems.
Oh no lol. The first time Racer said something he shouldn't have, we laughed so hard. We tried not to, but it was just so hard to hold it in.
Oh we were there LOL Mommy here loves to use that word LOL
Uh oh! My kids like to tell me I owe them $ everytime a curse bomb leaves my lips, they would be SO rich!
Haha. nice.
That i funny. I guess because it isn't my kid saying it!
My daughter does like to announce she farted....anywhere she is!
We've had much worse in our house. My oldest couldn't say truck. It came out as, yep you guessed it. My lil one has picked up "oh sh*********t" with proper usage, infection, tone, and everything. Crap has become our substitute.
i don't know what's worse - faux swear words, or "HUH?" everytime you ask them something (instead of pardon) - grrrrr!!!
Well crap! ;-) That's my word too... hopefully I can clear it from my vocab soon - my little man is pushing 6 months so I should have some time. Let's hope. :)
Oh no! lol It's definitely not as bad as it could be. I bet if you don't make a big deal out of it she'll quit saying it.
How funny! I bet if you get a new, nicer word, she picks up on that real quick and forgets the crap. lol
As long as she doesn't drop the 'F' bomb then you are doing good! LOL
Oh the wonders,.....let's just say I need to watch my vocab or soon my toddler will be saying worse things,...:)
Hey, maybe I can spell it out instead.....
Izabel said that word a couple of times but that was it. It soon passed. And hey, if that is the worst you get, that's fantastic. I know some kids who have a much worse vocabulary.
This is my favorite word as well.
Isn't motherhood fun! :-)
Coulda been worse right? Happy Monday!
LOL that reminds of the day (a few weeks ago) when my three year old exclaimed "Holy CRAP it's sunny!" My jaw hit the floor. I guess i need to watch what I say!
It could be worse! :)
I hope you're doing well this week!
Your hubby sounds like such a wise ass...reminds me of mine..LOL! and if it makes you feel any better..my sons new word was damn it....sigh...
He says it loudly, and in front of every family member he can think of. He thinks it is rather funny...even though we have all tried to pretend he isn't saying it...LOL...not to the tune of anything yet though...
Oh no! I always wondered how that happened!
I think I prefer "What's Mommy's favorite word" to Munch's recent "Mommy's Dinkin'" everytime someone says Uh Oh! Thank you Beloved for that one!
LOL- My daughter liked to say sh*t when she was the little lady's age.
